Outage Resources & Tips
The automated outage system uses your phone’s caller ID to identify your Riviera Utilities account. If you call from a phone number not listed on your account, the system will not be able to locate your information and will ask you to enter the number that is listed under your account. Please be sure to keep your contact information updated so we can better serve you and respond quickly to outages. Each account can store up to three phone numbers — for example, a home phone, cell phone, or spouse’s cell — to help ensure we can identify your household when you report an outage. This automated system identifies your account, provides us with your address, and pinpoints your location on our service map faster than we can do it manually.
